32. Monkey stole the phone and attacked the owner

Even some monkeys are camera-shy. A man in China named Zheng Dong found this out the hard and painful way when he took photos of the Assamese macaque monkeys in Fuzhou zoo. One of the monkeys took away his camera. Determined to get back his phone, he climbed over the fence only to be viciously attacked by three other monkeys who scratched at him until zookeepers came to the rescue.

Luckily, he survived, thanks to the quick response of the rescuers, but Zheng’s phone wasn’t so lucky, which was damaged beyond repair. And instead of showing gratitude to those who saved his life, the sought compensation from the zoo for his damaged phone.
