30. Drunk and feeding the bears

Zoo visitors, please be advised that feeding the bears, or any wild animal for that matter, is best left with authorized zoo staff. But that memo didn’t reach Tracy Weiler who decided it was perfectly okay to feed the bears at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Wisconsin. She thought she was doing a great service, thinking that the bears might not have been well-fed. And she had all these thoughts while drunk.

Tracy then proceeded to cross several barriers to getting close to the bears. But instead of grabbing the food she offered the bears, the animals bit Weiler’s fingers clean off. Her boyfriend intervened and also got bitten in the process.
