Fatal Selfie

Xenia Ignatyeva, 17-year-old,  died one second after this selfie was snapped. She lost her balance and fell leading to her death.

The 9/11 attack cost many people’s lives. Moira Smith was the only NYPD woman officer killed in the attacks. Minutes after helping the injured man in the picture, Smith went to the south tower of the World Trade Center to assist more people but the building collapsed which caused her and several other people’s death.
