Awaiting Death

In 2013, two engineers, ages 19 and 21, died moments after this photo was captured. A fire started at the top of this 220-feet tall wind turbine in Holland. This tragic image showed the two co-workers awaiting their death.

Online Suicide

In 2013 Gabriela Hernández Guerra killed herself at age 22 after breaking up with her Ecuadorian online boyfriend. A minute after posting this photo and leaving a disturbing message on her Facebook page she committed suicide.

Her facebook message was: “Goodbye to all, I don’t have anything now, I don’t have anything. Julio I love you, never forget it. I’m leaving with a smile because you made me very happy while this lasted. To my family, I ask for your forgiveness. Love, Gabi.”
