New Year’s Day Tragedy N1
Filipino politician Reynaldo Dagsa took a picture of his killer, his wife, daughter and mother a minute after his own death. This photograph was key evidence at Dagsa’s murder trial.
Walking To Meet Death
High wire walker Karl Wallenda had embarked on a 121-feet above ground walk in Puerto Rico in 1978. Working without a safety net, the circus legend died at age 73 moments after this picture was captured. He was almost half way across when a wind exceeding 30 miles per hour made the high wire sway. Karl tried to sit on the wire but slipped and fell to his death.
