Moments Before The Puzzling Death of Elisa Lam

Elisa Lam, seen in this still shot of a camera footage of her entering and exiting an elevator, was a Canadian college student who disappeared in Los Angeles in February of 2013. The bizarre circumstances surrounding her disappearance has puzzled authorities and interested people worldwide, with her death even referenced in popular culture. In the video footage from the Cecil Hotel taken before her disappearance, Lam is seen talking to herself and hiding from someone in the hallway and looking distraught. Her body was discovered by a maintenance worker by chance weeks later, inside a water tank on the hotel’s rooftop, with no explanation as how she ended up there.
