Man’s Struggle Before Being Gored By A Bull

The controversial and bloody sport of Spanish bull-fighting has both horrified animal rights advocates and entertained tourists with its almost romantic portrayal of a man and a beast’s dance to the death.

The cotillion of sorts can have different endings, one when the matador successfully thrusts his sword deep into the beast’s heart; two when he misses the heart and the bull lives; and three when the bull kills or injures the matador.

For 29 year-old matador Victor Barrio, his last dance happened on live television as he was fatally gored by Lorenzo the bull, in front of a horrified crowd.

Burning Man

Every year, during the summer months of August and September, droves of people leave their urban settlements and travel to a transient tent city at the playa of Nevada’s Black Rock Desert for a week of festivities. Music, dancing and art are the main activities at the Burning Man Festival, with people spreading good vibes and love during the annual event. In 2017, Aaron Joel Mitchell, one of the attendees, ran into the burning structure, ultimately leading to his death. The toxicology report by authorities revealed that Mitchell was clear from any alcohol or drugs, leaving the reason for his deadly stunt a complete mystery.
