World Trade Center

September 11, 2001 was the day of a tragedy that took the lives of 2,996 people. This photo was taken at 9:03 am as the United Airlines Flight 175 crashed the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.

Planned Death

The service dog in this photo was taken minutes before his death at the vet in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The death of the animal was a planned event but still a very sad one.
