This picture was taken during American musician Johnny Cash’s last live performance at The Carter Ranch in Hiltons VA. The artist died at age 71  few months after this picture was taken from a degenerative disease.

Japan Airlines Flight 123 was a scheduled domestic Japan Airlines passenger flight from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Osaka International Airport, Japan. The craft crashed because of an explosion caused by a faulty repair performed seven years earlier. This picture was taken inside the cabin 32 minutes before the tragedy struck and later recovered from the crash site. 509 people were killed and 4 survived.
