Last Supper

Before the Titanic’s tragic fate, the ship last dinner service was served to first-class passengers which consisted of 11 courses.  True to its first-class service, well-healed passengers were given a music book containing 352 songs.  Likewise, musicians on board the ship were required to know them all in case requests were made by their discriminating passenger list.  It was reported that they played for two hours and five minutes as the ship sank.  This scene it right out of a movie setting which probably inspired the opulent setting of James Cameron’s rendition of the Titanic movie. One can just imagine the lavishness of that bygone era of English and American high society.
