Only very little account was ever written about the third-class passengers of the Titanic. According to records, the United States Senate investigation and the British investigation never bothered to interview any of the third-class Titanic survivors. Most of them spoke very little English. For those who survived, they recount how they were given clothes, food and hot coffee. They remembered standing at the railing for hours, looking out to the open sea and hoping that they would discover just one more lifeboat where their loved ones might be hoping they too have survived.
