Arguably, the Titanic’s commanding presence can be attributed from the four large smokestacks. Conversely, it interesting to note that only three of Titanic’s four smokestacks functioned.  The first three were actually connected to the furnaces that produced the smoke, but the fourth one functioned mainly as an air vent and a way to add some symmetry to the ship’s overall iconic look. The Titanic was approximately 882.5 feet (269 metres) long and about 92.5 feet (28.2 metres) wide at its widest point. It was immortalized in detail in the Oscar-winning film of James Cameron. “I am the King of the World” the hero, Jack Dawson, shouted.
