The Titanic’s Grand Staircase onboard descended down seven of the gigantic ship’s 10 decks and featured rich oak paneling, bronze cherubs and paintings. Furthermore, the staircase at the White Swan Hotel in Alnwick, contains banisters from the Grand Staircase of the Titanic’s sister ship, the Olympic. It was said to be identical. The Grand Staircase was popularized on film by the multi-Oscar winning film of its namesake.
